Lazy Day

The storms continued well into the night here, we awoke to glimpses of Mont Collon through moody clouds, with the zero point under 3000m a lot of the rain had plastered the North Face with snow - as low as I've seen any in a few months now.
After yesterdays adventures today isn't a big day, so a leisurely lazy breakfast was called for, I even put a couple of clients with sore knees on the bus. We ambled down to Les Haudres just ahead of the rain and made our way up to the lovely old Hotel de la Sage for a very Swiss version of afternoon tea just as the rain began to lash the windows again.
One of the clients helped me resolve an annoying tech problem (ok,ok, he fixed it lol) so I was finally able to answer some emails curled up on a couch next to a roaring fire (in August!). The clients mostly appeared glad they weren't out in the storms again.
