Simonside heather

A fantastic afternoon and evening of photography at Simonside on a workshop run by a local landscape photographer.  The conditions were blustery with interesting cloud formations and great light and importantly the heather was in full bloom.  The evening in particular was perfect.  A brilliant day with a great company and some shots I was pleased with.  These are a couple from the evening and which I have quickly processed to blip.
