An apple a day....

I was unable to post this blip last night as my computer when turned on began installing umpteen 'updates' which took so long, well over an hour and I had to head out to work before it was finished.

This is a photograph of an apple which is one of many growing on a small apple tree in the grounds of the hospital. It is a beautiful wee tree planted in memory of an infant who died some years ago in the paediatric intensive care unit. I pass it often but have never seen it bearing fruit before. It looked so beautiful in the morning light & just had to take a photograph. A lovely tribute to a young life tragically cut short.
