Great Spangled Fritillary

I've taken about a million photos of butterflies today - all of them on the Buddleia right outside the kitchen door. A Buddleia, I might add, that thoughtfully planted itself in a cement planter that was just sitting out there waiting for something to happen in it. It means I can see all the lovely things that are going and grab my camera whenever it becomes irresistible, which it did repeatedly this afternoon.

The Buddleia is, as it happens, right outside the window that has the hummingbird feeder stuck on it... The extra is another shot of a hummer.
