Little Alms Cliff

After lunch, we went for a short walk at Little Alms Cliff.  This is a smaller rock formation than Almscliffe Crag.

After walking around there, we then took a wander into the woods hoping to be able to extend our walk a little and then return to the car.  We got more than we bargained for, with a very overgrown track that gave us no access to the path back to the car until we'd followed it for about a mile...

The main photo is Sharon's.  We did have fun photographing the trees on the way back though - the extras are Tim's.  There's a straight tree trunk picture (made moody) and a Valda Bailey-esque three shot multi exposure.
