Looking for Food

This blackbird appears in our garden every day. It's always looking for worms, and is often very successful.

I've never taken a photograph of it before as I never have my camera ready and my iphone is the old 3GS, so it's camera really isn't up to the job of zooming in clearly.

Today however, I was up in Amy's room tidying and there he was just looking up at me. It's almost as if he wanted me to take his photo, as he patiently waited as I got my camera, changed my lens and got myself into position, leaning out of the window. Hence this shot is very much a "birds eye view" of a blackbird!
