Ripple Frosting

I still had some bright red frosting left over from the Jubilee street party and decided this morning that it really needed using up. But I didn't have enough to cover all the cakes I made and didn't fancy making more bright red up, so I made a small amount of pale pink, put it all in the piping bag together and just piped it out onto the cakes.

I quite like the effect but I do think it would be more effective if I had left today's frosting cream coloured. The kids, however, were very impressed... so there's another idea for school cake sales!
