Borrans Field

A dull day until after I arrived home from a short afternoon walk when it brightened up. 

I’ve walked through this field so often and don’t think I’ve taken a photo of the barn.  It’s also home to the remains of Galava Roman Fort some of which has been excavated. 

It seemed just right for a photo today. Cows were grazing and although the grey sky was featureless the summit of Fairfield was appearing through the cloud. I’ve cropped it to square format to lose the road that runs alongside.
