Testing the footpath

I am leading another group walk in a few weeks, around Lydiate. As I discovered on the last one that some of the footpaths were impassable I decided I needed to go and recheck two of the stretches of the next one, as I had planned it in March. Went out at lunch time today with a friend to check the paths, which were all fine. We only did the sections needed but obviously had to walk there and back rather than a circuit. We then had to sample the pub menu and check that they would accept a large group. Recce complete, walk all set.
