Meeting

This is what meetings should look like. We started off with lunch and almost everything was homemade and/or grown in the garden. The sun shone. I did my knitting while we talked.
Topics covered: plans for a harvest supper with bluegrass music, energy-saving lights for the church Christmas tree, helping the primary school achieve their green flag, arranging a performance by Riding Lights Theatre Company about climate change, publicising the opening times of the local recycling centre, ethical banking, carbon footprints...and more.
Food eaten : soup, bread ,cheese, tomatoes, blackcurrant jam, shortbread and coffee.
Rows knitted: quite a few
World changed: a bit at a time.
