Stray Dollar

The first day of our holidays and already an emergency blip! We spent the day in transit, awakening at the Leeds/Bradford Airport Travelodge in time for a morning flight to Heathrow but then with far too much time to wait around before the onward flight to Denver. Then Denver Airport looked pretty cool - if unfinished; a big, graceful concrete shell - but all the Homeland Security signs made me far too paranoid to get the camera out. By the time we got the shuttle bus to the Budget Car Rental lot it was already going dark which meant that we managed to get lost on the supposedly ten-minute trip to the Hotel, upgraded satnav notwithstanding...
