It's a lottery

Got my ballot paper today, worryingly in the same envelope as the summer raffle ticket. My party is clearly in dire straights. But it's not funny. People don't really how serious this is; it is not just one party that is threatened, it is our whole democracy. Unfettered tories have a nasty habit of taking a wrecking ball to society, which is what messrs Cameron and Osborne are doing now, like playground bullies when the teachers are all out of sight.  Our society is built on holding bad behaviour at bay through a delicate tension of opposing forces. Right now there is nothing to stop the right wing crazies.

We may all have to take to the streets to protect the things that matter. When politicians fail the masses must mobilise in defence of a decent world.
