Life in a bubble

Had a really nice day today, once I had gone back to bed and had got some more sleep after the 6am demands of hungry cats.

Did some more planning for the not-future with Big Joe then had a little move around of furniture to create a wonderfully cosy environment in our front living room. With autumn's long reach scratching at the end of summer days we're getting ready already for the days of log fires and warm jumpers. After that we went for a walk in the local woods and met a blind dog with silver fur called Max, and his sad owner.

The blip was taken in Pret where we met The Dizzle on his break from an eight hour shift. Pret do awesome Bakewell tarts but I prefer Starbuck's decaff soya latte. By such small things do ordinary people measure their lives ...

Good Facetime with The Girl Racer in Sydney tonight. She got told today that she definitely has a job in Whistler manning the ski lifts over the Canadian winter and is of course delighted. Well done and have a lovely time.
