Golden hour

A fine day —got up late…too windy to row…worked on plans with maps for a car trip in Sept…took a walk…lovely lunch on the deck…stopped fussing with the Blurb Venice book and ordered it…short nap with book (the Leopard)…light dinner… row after dinner in the calm warm light (looking for wildlife, of course, but nothing interesting came forth....)

the photo is a few boats hunkering down for the night in front of Montague Harbor Park on Galiano…I hope there is not the strong north wind that is predicted before morning….
