Burgoyne Bay, Saltspring Island

So much talking with breakfast and coffee that we ran out of time to see some planned sights on Saltspring Is. near Nanzy19 and G’s beautiful place that they built. (see yesterday)   But we did take a walk thru lovely provincial park to beautiful Burgoyne Bay at low tide on a very HOT day.    Lots of geese and ducks here too.   We’ll have to come back for more…next year.   Some grocery shopping before hitting the ferry back to Galiano.  Arrived at our dock at 6:45 to our 2 neighbors who insisted on going to get the 6 batteries that we had left in the car and they wouldn’t let H help.  ( H had in mind a cold drink on the deck when we finally got here with all our other stuff, including vegetable and figs from Nanzy19 ! but how could one refuse this offer?)   Aren’t we lucky to have such nice neighbors looking after us old ones.  They were back in an hour but the installation will wait for tomorrow. ….  .
