Strange Day

Woke to heavy smoke at dawn.....eerie. Took me back to 2000 when 2 million acres burned right behind us up past Mill Creek clear down across the Idaho border. It improved by afternoon. April has just about an hour's worth of work left on her sculpture, M&R have another 2days' work on the rock "patiette", and I have 9 pages of paperwork to submit to the U.S. Army to do a monument they've requested. All digits crossed that they sign off on it! 2 other large monuments in the works, as well. So exciting!
The smoke cleared a little as I drove to town to get groceries....but, this sky monster followed me all the way with his white-hot eye. I hope he's a good spirit.
