A beautiful sunny and warm day, absolutely perfect for the play street event that +1/2 was involved in setting up on the next street to ours. The idea is that the council will let you close a (non-critical, following consultation of course) road for a few hours to allow children (big and small) to come out and play - what like we used to in the olden days.

Toys, catch, football, ice lollies, onion and spoon races (with quite a few onions not quite making it to the finish). A fantastic day.
