Life and death.

Here, my resident spider is hauling up a neat little parcel of recently caught  bee, complete with pollen. 

I was amazed to see how the spider rapidly and repeatedly  picked off stuff that she evidently didn't need, and threw it away.

This bee will form part of the pantry pod above, where the young spiders are born. if you look large, you will be able to see them.

I suppose she lays her eggs inside the pods.
