A common frog ..

I moseyed into the garden to see if there were any foxes in the back bit ...  there were a couple of little sunbathers who scooted off as soon as they realised I was there.

But I discovered that there are leaf cutter bees using the insect hotel I put up a couple of years ago ..  and I almost stood on this lovely frog, but fortunately saw him just in time!

I got back from a shopping trip to find a huge Waitrose box on the doorstep - and inside was a beautiful bouquet and a box of chocolates from a friend I haven't seen for years, but is quietly following me on Facebook - she thought I needed cheering up - how lovely!
