Making an important call!

Today I finally managed to take my birthday trip to our favourite garden centre - only 2 months late - where we managed to buy just about everything but plants: well we did buy a rose!  A stop at another garden centre on the way home resulted in the purchase of a second rose and a couple of perennials which might get blipped soon.

After we got home, Violet and her Mummy popped round to see us.  Violet is extremely interested in devices such as tablets and mobiles and as you can see here is rapidly learning how to use them!  She knows that mobiles  are for speaking to people and already tries to scroll and tap the touch screen!

Thank you to all who had a (correct) guess at my mystery macro yesterday - you were all quite right: it's a fancy corkscrew!

Thank you also to all who commented on, starred and hearted my two cameras on Monday.  Being taken up with family matters  has left me with little time to comment and reply but hoping to catch up over the next couple of days.
