Rescued Poppy

There are poppies growing in the garden, but were very much battered by the wind and rain. I rescued this stem with several buds and brought it indoors. It has now flowered so has to be my blip. The flowers look as though they are made of paper, so delicate.

Home tomorrow, hopefully to a sunny Yorkshire!
