On the window

Our guests left us after morning coffee today, taking with them most of the sloes and, of course, Frodo the cavalier. They had a good journey back to Yorkshire.
Russet was in a gloom for the rest of the day, lying where Frodo had been sleeping and looking sad. It was quiet, and the rain continued to fall!
We had a good visit, which cheered JF up and helped him to forget his cracked rib occasionally!
Just a week on our own before the next family arrive!
