SPLASH!

A much better day with, not one, but TWO little trips out. One to the Gogs Farm shop for a spot of lunch and to pick up something for dinner. We then went to the school pool for a couple of hours this afternoon. Even though it was very overcast and a little chilly, the children had a super time and it got them away from their electronic gadgets for a while.

Between our 2 little outings, I sat here and watched the whole of Cilla's funeral on BBC News Chanel. I've never seen a Catholic funeral with full requiem mass before and it was really fascinating. Obviously, star turns from Biggins, Sir Cliff and (the star of the show) Paul O'Grady made it a fabulous, star studded send off for Our Cilla. I think the old girl would have been delighted.
