Lighthouse Roost

I had a rather ineffective morning's photography at Barns Ness the other day. Initially I concentrated on photographing wild flowers using a long lens but as the harebells were the only flowers that were not too battered and dying, this proved a harder task as they managed to hide themselves effectively in the long grasses. I was not feeling inclined to do lots of gardening before taking my shots and the results were suitably unimpressive. ( though I have included one in my blip as an extra shot. However, before we left the beach I did spot loads of birds using the top fences of the lighthouse as a resting place and thought they were worth recording although I have done a similar blip in previous years
