Uninvited Guests

It has become the tradition to have a gathering of the ladies who attend Annie's Pilates classes. Everyone brings some food to Annie's farmhouse in Rosedale perched half way up Chimney Bank (the steepest hill in these parts). Bread was baked incorporating ingredients we then had to guess the mystery ingredient. This year's offerings were Heather and Gale. Surprisingly both were guessed with Gale being preferred to the Heather which did not really taste of very much.

This year it coincided with Annie's 50th and one very creative lady made this wonderful birthday cake complete with Annie in Pilates pose. As we sat in the garden the chickens enjoyed taking advantage of the crumbs!
