Gateway to the Cheviot

Wooler is called the "Gateway to the Cheviot Hills", but here's a real gate leading on to the hills! MrM and I  - and Louie - walked from Wooler Common up through the woods to the gate, in the hope of seeing red squirrels again, but no luck this time. It was a very pleasant walk on a warm evening though.
