Billy

I must have taken over a thousand portraits around Shipley now, not all of which I've posted here as blips. I can usually remember when I meet someone if I've photographed them before, but it's getting harder to know whether they've made it to inclusion in my portrait project. I took this shot of Billy suspecting that he was already one of my faces so I was quite pleased when I did a search and discovered that he wasn't. I was able to use one of my favourite backdrops around Market Square, this deep red wall at the entrance to William Hills, the bookmakers. I thought it would be interesting today to post both the colour and mono version of the same portrait. Which is stronger?
