Wall hanging

Not being gardener, I would have thought that the clematis season was over, but I'm proved wrong by this attractive display on a garden wall at my present house-sit.

It has been a day of sunshine and showers. Having gone into the supermarket coatless in sunshine, I wasn't the only shopper to be horrified by the sound of heavy rain on the roof. A warm sunny afternoon ensued.

For anyone interested, I've added the original of yesterday's abstract as an extra (yesterday). It was a tweaked detail of a guinea-fowl feather, hence the polka dots.

Today's extra is Freckle and Lottie surveying the landscape from a high vantage point.
