Rowan Red

The Mountain Ash (Rowan) tree berries looked amazing this evening and this under grey skies.

I was looking for RIng Ouzels - they love these but will have to get out of bed early one day and try again - no luck finding any Ouzels today.

Lots of luck finding Spotted Flycatchers though as just round the next corner there were 5 - a pair with 3 very spotty youngsters.  Another reason to go out again and this time with a telephoto lens. 

That's 3 places with Spotted Flycatchers locally all seen in this last week
