these are rangpur - a chinese mandarine lime or lemandarin - ironically after the Bangladesh city of the same name. there is also a link to Bengal.

they come from a tree in a yard with an owner who doesnt like them - hence the white discolourd blotches & most likely a funal thingy that a real gardener would  detest....

they look like a mandarine, but have a more lime like flavour. I've a large bowl to turn into curd - Monday's task after nightshift.
