'Hanging on'

When I first looked at this photo, I thought it had somehow rotated itself....but this was the angle of my shot. Plenty of these Cabbage Whites in my garden..but where are the Red Admirals? So far I haven't seen one! The Sedums will be out soon...so just maybe.

Packing tonight...we are off to Chandlers Ford, in Hampshire tomorrow..using my daughters house again as a base, whilst they are in France. I have a list of places to visit...sadly the weather forecast is not good. We are going to have to find a different route..very sad news about an air crash at the Shoreham Air Show..a Hawker Hunter crashed onto the A27 , killing seven people..the pilot is critically ill . We were going to travel today..but changed our plans....so thankful that we did. Will be home on Friday.
