Bletchley Park

Got up early but no time for a run. Picked Rose & Mike up in the borrowed A3 and headed off towards Milton Keynes. Had breakfast there with a coffee.
We walked round this incredible place and learnt about what they were up to- or some of it at least. To think some people can't function without being completely daft and these guys worked so tirelessly and hard to crack the codes which was a multi step process and at midnight of EVERYDAY began again when the code settings would be changed to made the deciphering even harder.
It's incredible to think about all their hard work and how some were treated afterwards including Alan Turing.
I still can't believe that people today can't add up properly and yet these guys built machines to crack codes. Very very clever and at true team effort.
Went back for a natter and a chinese- can't be bad.
