And They're Off
It's been a windy day but by no means any complaints, the sun has been shining all day and warm too :)
No chances of a lie in today, up and needed to get out to enjoy the day :)
The day started with walkies around Cunningsburgh with Sammy and did a bit of gardening when I got home again. Met mam in the yard and she gave me a home grown lettuce to have with lunch, mmmm right yummy :) Me and mam went up to my sister Laura's after lunch and we went for a run to drop off niece Elise to Burra. Eve came with us and we headed into Lerwick for a cuppa at Mareel. We left Eve in Lerwick and then me and mam went for a run in the car, with a stop off at the Wester Skeld kirk for Sunday Teas and what a fantastic spread was on offer.
A quiet night of walkies again with Sammy and then an early night, back to work tomorrow!!
As we were leaving Cunningsburgh, we passed the Mind Your Head charity run. Mind Your Head was formed to promote mental health positively. The run has been getting bigger every year and a great turn out today with the sunny weather. There's a 10k run, walking and also cycles, Eva Jamieson up front on her push bike. Well done to all those who take part, maybe me and Sammy could walk it next year :) Taken at the Aithsetter junction, Cunningsburgh.
