Gaucho at Bird Fair

This gaucho from Salta with his Guëmes poncho was manning the Argentina stand today at the British Bird fair.  Very smart - and in the background two of our threatened birds - the Hooded Grebe and the torrent Duck, both apparently at the mercy of the imported American Mink.
