Fire.....

right behind my house! Today I was sewing in the afternoon - it was a bright sunny day as usual and suddenly the inside of the house went quite dark.  I got a shock when I looked out the window and could only see smoke and fire!  Thankfully the wind was blowing away from the house and I could not smell smoke.  The bush behind the house was on fire - it spread rapidly as everything is so dry, and of course we don't have any fire fighters here - we do have a fire brigade but they do not have any water!!

It burned for a couple of hours and then fizzled out  -thankfully the grass was short and as far as I know no one or no buildings were affected!
