Whaaaat? For ME??

Hello Blipfriends!  

Today was a FULL day and Mum just couldn't decide what to share for the blip.  This morning Mum went into the village and had a mooch around the shops and treated herself to a coffee and breakfast.  She came back with more (!) floor samples and presents for her Great-Niece.  This afternoon she went to the Twyford Village Family Picnic/Fair.  I wasn't allowed to go because it was REALLY hot.  Mum said it was OK but mostly for families and little kids.  She did see Theresa May, who opened the event as she is our local MP as well the UK's Home Secretary.  I'm not sure WHAT that is, but Mum says it's an important position in the government and that she's in the news a lot.  Mum also says she sometimes sees her shopping at Waitrose.  I don't think she can be THAT important if she still does her own food shopping!  

It was TOO HOT to be outside most of the rest of the afternoon so we stayed inside while mum did boring paperwork. Finally there was a big rainstorm and when it was over we raced out to have a quick walk and Mum enjoyed the pretty sky.  

BUT - The BEST part of the day was that I got a package in the post today!  And it was addressed to ME!!!  Mum said that one of my friends had sent me a birthday present but it was very early.  More will be revealed in tomorrow's Blip!
