You Are Now Entering....

The City of Cambridge. A place name sign was posted at the entry of every major road into Cambridge. The colourful Coat of Arms depicts the lost Norman Castle , the great bridge at Magdalene Street, over the river Cam, from which Cambridge derived it's name and trading ships indicating that it was once an inland port in Roman times and the Middle Ages. I don't know the age of this marker which I saw in the Technology yard.
