Fingerbob
I stopped by on my drive down the road on the other side of town and took a picture of our old friend Fingerbob. The beat up saguaro cactus, former home - and for all I know, present home - of many a woodpecker, cactus wren and other bird - is steady as she goes. Despite all of its cavities and scars it stands tall and proud watching over passing motorists who don't even notice it.
I think the name we gave this saguaro years ago is more appropriate than ever. Not only does it look like a Fingerbob but it is likely giving "it" to everyone who ignores it. But then again, I always give everything living in nature feelings.
