Asics World Series of Beach Volleyball - Day 5

The matches are winnowing down towards the finals tomorrow (which we will not be attending) so most of the action is on stadium court. This severely limits the kinds of photos those of us without photo passes are able to capture (hence the reason we will not be attending the finals), so I thought I would show the venue today. This is the semifinal match between Kerri Wash-Jennings/April Ross and a team from Germany. Every seat was taken and the loud, pro-American crowd helped Kerri and April achieve a hard fought win. The knowledgeable fans cheered every good play, regardless of which team made it, but reserved their loudest yells for the U.S.A. players. A very fun event of which to be a part!
