Getting there

4 children and one mother were not very happy about getting up 'early' this morning. 3 children were not very happy at the prospect of surfing in a downpour. 1 child was not very happy at NOT going surfing...

A cheeky with Clare made me happy. I then came home, cleaned up Red's room, put up his curtains and bunting, rewired a light/multi socket/connector thing, built his storage thingy, dismantled the bunk bed in Lily's room, dragged it into Red's room, cleaned it and rebuilt it. Then broke for lunch!

Red and I started putting his things away which meant Ally's room was half cleared. We picked the very happy surfers up and continued into Lily's disaster zone.

Cleaned where the bed had been, transferred toys around, transferred clothes to charity pile/Red's old drawers, cleared Bella's room to get to her trundle bed and set that up, sorted through the CDs and finally hoovered.

The landing and my bedroom now look like an explosion has occurred however tea has just arrived in the form of a Chinese takeaway delivery so I think it might be time to call it a day!
