Hermitage of Braid Doocot

Made use of the lovely sunshine and went for a bike ride through the hermitage. The noon sun shines nicely on the Hermitage of Braid Dovecot with its walled garden. The Hermitage is always a delight to visit. Extra shows a Himalayan Balsam flower, a very successful invasive species. But also very pretty and much loved by the insects. I also love the exploding seed pods.
