A sunny day over the River South Esk
This is the river that runs into Montrose Basin. It runs under the Bridge of Dun (built 1785-7, architect Alexander Steven). It has three arches with pointed cutwaters which support groups of four columns (see my extra) - these in turn support semicircular pedestrian refuges. It was from one of these refuges that I took the photo of the river. There is a terrific gale blowing this afternoon making outside photography rather precarious, but - as you see - I got home safely! Have a nice evening.
