Ickleford

Igor - "Do you know why it's called Ickleford?"
Me - "No"
Igor - "The stream across the street in the centre of the village is very, very tiny"
Me - "What do you mean?"
Igor - "Look at that ickle ford!!"

That's what I have to contend with on a daily basis!!

We were on our way to a blipmeet at the Lavender Farm just outside Ickleford when my ears were assaulted with that "joke". Black tulip had visited here a couple of weeks ago and thought it would make a good place for blippers to gather. She was right of course. We had a good day. Even though the lavender wasn't as spectacular as it had been we all managed to find something to blip. I had fun playing around with my little wide angled lens.

It was good to meet Nicoiseannie, CathyBen and BedsWizard and to see JohnH and Radiogirl again. Oh and of course BlackTulip - Thanks for organising our lovely day.

After the Lavender Farm Igor and I went into Stevenage so he could drool over look at some guitars (see extra shot).
