Angel's Fishing Rod

A day of sunshine and showers, so we dashed in and out of the garden trying to get things done before the next downpour.  This is a new plant near the pond, a gift from a friend.  It looked like a clump of dead grass when we received it, but we were assured it would produce flowers eventually and here they are:-) 

It's a Diorama "Blackbird", which also goes by the delightful name of Angel's Fishing Rod, perfect for a fisherman gardener!
