Sculpture in the Sanctuary

We are in Southwell, visiting an annual exhibition of sculpture in a park - Reg Taylor's, which is basically a rather up-market garden centre.
The exhibition is extensive, covering a substantial area of parkland, woodland and lakeside locations, and I make no apology for the fact that, over the next few days, I shall be giving a flavour of the many and beautiful artefacts on display.
You might have thought, on first viewing today's blip, that here were a couple of swallows.
Quite right! - but crafted in this case from metal, and incredibly realistic. I think they are quite beautiful and wonderfully accurate.
