Such a great day.......

Blipping quickly before I turn into a pumpkin at midnight! Will add more words in a minute :))

I've had the most amazing day enjoying the company of blipper Landscapeartist! And what great company she was! The time just slid through our fingers and, before I knew it, a couple of hours had turned into eight and I had to take my leave as I still had a two hour (actually close on three) hour journey ahead of me. We got on so well together - I'm sure we shall meet up again! :))

After enjoying coffee made by Landscapeartist's delightful husband, Mr E, we walked along a spectacular ridge with a beautiful landscape spread beneath us, continued along country paths until we reached Waylands Smithy (first extra). There we enjoyed a lovely picnic, which ended a little abruptly as the weather decided to defy the forecast and rain upon us! Later we enjoyed a deliciously indulgent coffee and cake before going on to another of Landscapeartist's favourite places, Minster Lovell Hall, just as the sun was lowering in the sky - such a beautiful place!

Needless to say, we chatted and clicked away endlessly....... :)) Such a great day...... :))
