Rose

My sister-in-law brought us this miniature rose many years ago. I don't think I would be being unkind to say that it was probably a supermarket purchase that probably wasn't expected to do much more after the blooms on it at the time expired, but I planted it in a pot and put it outside and left it to its own devices. We've been rewarded with several lovely blooms every year since, and after I thought it had long finished flowering for this year, this flower appeared this week.
