Another airshow

Saturday, and off we went to another airshow to see the Vulcan in its last year in the air. This time to Dunsfold 'Wings and Wheels' in Surrey, and it was an excellent show. Apart from the Vulcan, there was a display by a modern Typhoon and a WWII Spitfire together, one by an American Bomber, the 'Memphis Belle', an amazing display by a glider pilot firstly attached to his towing plane and then on his own, and the Red Arrows who were superb to see again. Plenty of other displays both in the air and on the ground, and all in all a good show to visit. I prepared a collage of several planes on display but in the end decided to Blip the Vulcan on its own, as there will be precious few chances to see it in the air again.

Unfortunately, the weather let us down and by the time the Red Arrows arrived it was raining heavily so after that we left and headed off to stay with our friends in South London where we spent a good evening putting the world to rights hence this back-blip. Today's Blip to follow later!
