Flying colours
We packed up the tent in Ailefroide and said our goodbyes to Bob, Talia & baby Seth, the Italians, the Dutch guy and girls (we met lots of lovely people this year; the Anya effect)
The drive down through Gap was long and hot and we were glad to arrive at our second stop, Montmaur. A crazy wind came and coupled with rain, made it tricky to get the tent up. Mum & Dad had to move the van several times as we couldn't all agree on which way we wanted it and by the time we were all set up for the evening we were all knackered.
The campsite had some sort of crazy French entertainment/game where people threw coloured powder at each other, (nothing to do with the Hindu festival Holi.) We didn't fancy joining in but it was fun to watch.
