Colours in the dock

Last back blip. Amazingly the rain stopped long enough for me to rush outside for some photographs, as had no time before. Dropped my good friend Shirley off at the station, then went for Sunday Lunch at my local with friends & family. Then home again, to rain :(

This dock leaf cried out to be photographed, I love how dock leaves have this incredible colour, not all, just some. Needed the sunshine really to do it justice.

I'm hoping to get into the blip swing of things again, trouble is, once you get out of the habit of blipping on the actual *day* it's hard to get back in again.

Dad & I are all alone now. All friends & family gone. So many friends want us to come & stay with them, but I think we'll stay around here for a few weeks, go out, see some scenery, watch some wildlife, just relax & grieve together. She hasn't left us, my mum, she came & told me yesterday there was an ants nest in the front room - same as last year - flying ant plague! She hated those. I don't mind them. But I dealt with them! Hoovered the whole house afterwards too! She was happy after, I felt her happiness. As long as I can still feel that. I dreamed about it the other night, she was lying on the bed, smiling at me, watching me, so very happy. I'm so glad you're so happy mummy, that makes me feel so much better too. xxx
